I have retired. Not willingly, but retired. I crushed my left ankle on February 4th, 1979 and I have lived with chronic pain ever since. I walked with a cane until June 2018 when I started using a walker. The reason for the walker is Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) in the spine which causes chronic pain, so I have a back brace that I use all the time to reduce the pain. I can still get around with the use of the back brace and the walker, but I don't go as much as I use too.
